How to switch off and take time out

Tired of always being contactable? Wish you could just switch off for a while? It's so often easier said than done. But a weekly record in your journal – where you jot down which devices you have managed to take a break from and for how long – can be really helpful. For example, you could declare your bedroom a mobile-free zone or go back to using a classic analogue alarm clock rather than your phone. Whatever you choose, start small and keep track of your successes in your journal using feel-good colours.
