Step-by-step

Step 1
You can see all the materials you need at a glance in our photo. If required, the flags can be decorated on both sides and used again and again. We used the edding 4085 chalk marker by Securit in a variety of metallic shades.

Step 2
Before you start your design, activate the edding chalk marker as follows: shake the marker vigorously with the cap on, then remove the cap, place the nib on absorbent paper and carefully pump the marker up and down a few times until ink appears in the nib. Now you’re ready to get drawing. Follow the same steps with the other colours. (After use, always replace the cap securely and store the marker horizontally).

Step 3
We kept it simple and wrote “BRUNCH” on our pennants. Once the marker is primed, use it to decorate the little flags in a font you like. We wrote a single letter on each pennant. If your design doesn’t work out first time, or you want to make changes, simply wipe off the motif with a damp cloth and start again.

Step 4
In addition to metallic shades, there are 20 brilliant colours available in the full chalk marker range – so take your pick! A soft, gentle pastel, perhaps? We recommend you experiment to find out which shade you like best. You can wipe off your design and start all over again at any time! To clearly label and dress up your brunch buffet, put up small tabletop chalkboards or signs made of chalkboard vinyl. These can be written on with the edding 4085 chalk marker by Securit.
