Step-by-step
Step 1
Cut out the letters neatly using a craft knife, cutting board and a metal ruler.
Step 2
It's best to spray outdoors, with a large protective cover placed underneath. Ensure the letters are dry and free from dust. Now it's time to apply the Mauve. We recommend using horizontal and vertical strokes when spraying to ensure an even finish.
Step 3
To achieve the "used" retro effect, give the edges an extra spray of Rust Effect Spray Paint (making sure the first colour is completely dry). Cover up the letters, leaving just the edges exposed. Hold the Rust Effect Spray Paint can horizontal and spray from the side. Leave to dry thoroughly. And there you have it – your retro-look letter decoration is now finished!
