Step-by-step

Step 1
First, clean the bicycle basket to remove any dust. Cover the work surface and the surrounding area well using foil or paper. Here, you can see the neon shades at a glance. You will also need edding universal primer and white.

Step 2
First, take off the spray head of the white spray can and remove the safety ring, then put the spray head back on. Shake the spray can vigorously for about 3 minutes until you can clearly hear the mixing balls in the can. This is important as it ensures that the colour pigments are mixed thoroughly. In our Spray basics section, we offer important tips about the perfect way to spray.

Step 3
Spray the basket all over in white. For optimum spray results, it is best to spray in a criss-cross motion. The permanent spray is particularly ideal for wickerwork as it gets right into every nook and cranny.

Step 4
Let the first colour dry thoroughly. Next, spray neon yellow in a semicircle and let it dry. Carefully spray the neon orange above the first semicircle to create a rainbow.

Step 5
Finally, spray the upper area of the basket in neon pink. Your neon rainbow is now ready!

Step 6
The wooden box has been given a neon-coloured peace sign on one side. To do this, first mask a circle shape and spray everything around the outside by cutting out a large cardboard circle (e.g. with the help of a plate) and placing it in the centre of one side of the wooden box. Weigh it down with stones, for example.

Step 7
Prime the side of the wooden box with the universal primer and allow it to dry thoroughly.

Step 8
Next, spray the entire area in neon green using even strokes back and forth. Once the paint is dry, remove the cardboard disc.

Step 9
To design the peace symbol, tape off the parts of the circle that are not to be painted.

Step 10
Carefully spray the strip in neon pink in the middle and gradually spray the other coloured strips in orange or a colour of your choice. Before you remove the tape, the paint must have dried thoroughly.
