Step-by-step
Step 1
The template for the glass door design is split over several sheets. Print these out and enlarge if needed. The edding 4095 chalk marker, available in nine striking colours, is perfect for this project.
Step 2
Line up the different sections of the template as carefully as you can before gluing them together. Next, attach the template behind your window or glass door using adhesive strips, making sure every detail of the design is clearly visible through the glass.
Step 3
To activate your chalk marker, shake the marker vigorously with the cap still on. Next, remove the cap and carefully press the nib down a few times on a piece of absorbent paper until the ink fills the tip. Once you've finished drawing, remember to always replace the cap properly and store your markers horizontally.
Step 4
Gradually trace over each section of the floral pattern using the white chalk marker. If you make a mistake or don't like part of your design, you can simply wipe it away using a damp cloth and make changes whenever you want.
Step 5
Little butterflies and dragonflies make a pretty addition. You could even choose to add some colour using chalk markers in different shades. Just let your creative juices flow!
