This travel pouch is incredibly useful and versatile, whether for keeping all your travel essentials within easy reach, storing pens and travel documents safely, or as a makeup bag. To make it eye-catching you can use edding textile markers and pens to add your own slogans, motifs and patterns. edding textile products are ideal for all manner of light-coloured fabrics, including cotton and linen. There are two stroke widths and a range of 20 colours to choose from, including neon shades for a particularly vibrant effect. You can design your mini travel bag any way at all – be as imaginative as you like! We opted for a snow-covered mountain pattern, and you can add extra motifs as you wish. We show you exactly how it’s done in our video tutorial and in our instructions below. If you ever need to wash the pouch, we recommend that you iron it first on the no-steam setting, so it will then withstand washes up to 60°C.

Step-by-step

Step 1

If the cotton pouch is new, you should wash, dry and gently iron it first so it absorbs the ink better. You’ll need the following colours to draw our motifs: pink (009), light blue (010) and black (001).

Step 2

Print out the template and cut it out. Place the template on the pouch and draw round it with the black textile pen. Scatter these around until you have a mini mountain range.

Step 3

Next, colour in the mountains in your chosen colours or enhance them with snowy peaks. To heat-fix the design, iron the pouch on the no-steam setting. Your design is now wash-resistant up to 60°C.
