Step-by-step

Step 1
Label the envelopes by adding the numbers 1 to 24 – you’ll be filling them with little surprises later on. The edding 751 gloss paint marker is particularly good for this task and comes in a choice of different metallic colours.

Step 2
To decorate your window, you will need the edding 4095 chalk marker in white or in another colour of your choice. First, activate the marker as follows: shake the marker vigorously with the cap still on, then remove the cap and pump the marker up and down several times on a piece of absorbent paper until ink appears in the tip. After using the marker, make sure the cap is put back on properly. Store horizontally. Use the chalk marker to draw a garland on the window and decorate it with snowflakes, Christmas stockings and other Christmassy motifs. If you prefer, you can also make a template, stick it behind the windowpane and simply copy the motif.

Step 3
If you make a mistake, simply wipe off using a damp cloth at any time. Draw several vertical lines. After leaving them to dry briefly, use them to “hang” the envelopes you prepared earlier.
