Step-by-step
Step 1
Select an edding 1200 colour pen in your favourite shade. The template featuring the Christmas motif is available to download. If required, print it out and lay it out as a guide.
Step 2
Transfer the motif straight to your journal using the black edding 1200. Alternatively, you can simply draw it freehand. The motif really comes to life if the lines of the grid pattern aren’t completely straight. It really doesn’t matter if some of the lines are a bit wonky.
Step 3
When you’ve finished drawing, you can use the colour pens to start colouring to your heart’s content. The fine nib makes it easy to add details and intricate patterns.
Step 4
In this photo you can see several larger motifs. If, later on, you think of new ideas for Polaroids or other details, you can add them at any time.
