Step-by-step
Step 1
Print out a star template in the size you want. On three co-ordinating sheets of coloured A4 card, write a poem or seasonal greeting on both sides. Cut the A4 card into sections, large enough for one star template.
Step 2
Place the star template onto the card and fold both in half lengthwise. Trace the outline with the pencil and repeat for the other two stars on the other pieces of card. Cut out the three stars.
Step 3
Place all the stars on top of each other. Sew them together along the fold line using a sewing machine or by hand.
Step 4
Keep the thread at the top and bottom of the star longer than the size of the star to use as a hanging loop and for decorating below with the beads. Fan out the different parts of the star. Using the loop, hang the star up on a twig or anywhere you choose to make a great decoration!
