If you love animals and enjoy colouring in, this beautiful motif is just the thing for you. You can colour in all kinds of exotic wild animals to your heart’s content. On 4^th October, it’s World Animal Day - an international day of action for animal rights and welfare. So maybe it’s also an ideal moment to take some time out and colour in this picture. The edding 1200 lets you colour in with great accuracy. Thanks to the highlighter’s chisel nib, you can fill in narrow sections and broad blocks of colour.

Step-by-step

Step 1

To colour in this design, you will need the edding 1200 colour pen and the edding 24 EcoLine highlighter in pastel shades. Pick out your favourites – there are plenty of other attractive colours to choose from. Print out the colouring picture.

Step 2

Gradually, colour in each of the animals – such as this whale in pastel blue.

Step 3

You could, for example, colour in the snake using pastel yellow. Thanks to the edding 1200’s fine nib, it’s easy to do so without drawing over the edges.

Step 4

Once you’ve coloured in all the animals, you can fill in the background using the highlighter – we’ve used pastel pink in our picture. First, go round the outlines of the motifs using the narrow edge of the chisel nib before filling in all the gaps.
