Dream of waves and the sea with this August cover

This stunning picture in different shades of blue will make you yearn for the summer, water and waves - and it’s just the thing for August. We’ve used colour pens to design the monthly cover and the wave motif in really attractive shades of blue. Thanks to the edding 1200’s fine nib, it’s also easy to add lettering and draw the calendar with the aid of the colour pens (available in attractive metal boxes).

Step-by-step

Step 1

For the design, you will need edding 1200 colour pens in the colours of your choice. The handy metal box contains 20 pens and offers you a wide choice of attractive shades.

Step 2

Use a pencil to sketch the layout. To achieve a perfect circle, it can be helpful to draw round a mug or a cup in the correct size. If you want to play it safe, you can also draw the motif on a separate piece of paper before copying it.

Step 3

After you’ve finished sketching, it’s time to use the edding 1200. First, go over the edges of the waves using a coloured pen, then colour them in however you like. Choose your favourite colours.
