Step-by-step

Step 1
You can see everything you need at a glance in our photo. We decided on a two-tone lamp base, as it goes so well with the pastel blue. The range of pastels in the edding 751 gloss paint marker is presented in a handy set of 5 (including pastel yellow, pastel green, pastel rose and white). The first step is to remove the lampshade.

Step 2
Before using a gloss paint marker, you need to activate it: shake the marker vigorously with the cap still on; remove the cap, place the nib on a piece of absorbent paper and pump it up and down a few times until ink appears in the nib. (And after use, always store the marker horizontally.) Now you’re ready to get drawing. Let your imagination run free while you think up a nice pattern. We decorated our lamp base all the way round by adding graphic patterns. The ink dries quickly, so it won’t be long before you can reassemble your lamp. And there you have it: your new accessory is all done!
