DIY fabric pots

Decorative fabric baskets for plants

Why should plant pots always be made of ceramic, porcelain or plastic, when fabric can also look both unique and stylish? It’s easy to see why: fabric plant pot covers are lightweight, so they’re ideal for big plants that may need to be moved now and then. You can use edding textile markers to customise fabric baskets to match your décor. There are two stroke widths and a range of 20 colours to choose from, including neon shades for more vivid decorations. These textile markers and pens are ideal for all manner of light-coloured fabrics, including cotton and linen. We opted for a two-tone graphic pattern, but any design you choose could also work. If you want to use a template, you’ll find a wide variety of these on our website in the “Templates” section. If you ever want to wash a plant pot cover, we recommend that you iron it first on the no-steam setting, and the pattern will then withstand washes up to 60°C.
