Step-by-step
Step 1
The lampshade must be clean, dry and free from traces of grease. If you’re using a plastic shade - start by spraying the lampshade with plastic primer and leave to dry for around 15 minutes. Spray all around the shade with Rust Effect paint. Hold the spray can at a distance of about 25 cm and use both horizontal and vertical strokes.
Step 2
Leave the paint to dry thoroughly (approx. 30 minutes). Activate the gloss paint marker following the instructions given, then write your chosen wording around the lower edge of the lampshade.
