Step-by-step
Step 1
When coating paintable plastic objects such as this tool box or model boat, it's particularly important to prepare the base material. First, prime the item with edding Plastic Primer, holding the can at a distance of 25 cm. The primer is an excellent bonding agent for the subsequent coat of coloured paint.
Step 2
After approx. 15 minutes drying time, you can start painting the tool box in your chosen colour. Spray several thin coats using both horizontal and vertical strokes at a distance of approx. 25 cm to achieve an even surface finish.
Step 3
For extra protection and a perfect overall finish, spray your item afterwards with edding Clear Lacquer (matt or glossy). Use the same technique as you would for colour painting. The clear lacquer will be completely dry after approx. 24 hours, and then your tool box will be ready to use again.
