Designer Christmas boots

Have a creative Christmas this year with edding: Turn a wellington boot into a DIY Christmas stocking by decorating it with edding calligraphy markers

In Germany, home of the edding calligraphy marker, it has long been the custom for children to leave their shoes outside the front door on the eve of the 6th December. This may sound like a strange custom, but legend has it that kids who are well behaved will find some early Christmas treats in their shoes the next morning. Not so strange now, huh? This custom is to mark the holy night of St. Nicholas.

Why not take a festive leaf from our German friends' book and celebrate St. Nicholas night with your children this year? You can add your own personalised and creative twist to proceedings by decorating their wellies with edding calligraphy gloss markers.

If you want to surprise someone special during Advent, you've got the right tool for the job in an edding calligraphy paint marker. You can use it in a variety of ways during Advent – on St. Nicholas Day, for example, give plain old rubber boots a creative and artistic touch by adding calligraphic Christmas motifs and transform them into one-of-a-kind Christmas stocking that will light up little faces on 6th December.
