Step-by-step

Step 1

Clean the vase before you start. If you'd like to use one of our templates, then simply place the design template behind the glass vase so you can trace it.

Step 2

Now comes the fun part – the decoration. You can draw or write on the vase in the colour of your choice with an edding chalk marker.  Hint's and tips: when you buy the chalk markers, choose colours that are complementary to your vase (such as green and red, blue and orange) for a striking effect. Alternatively, choose a lighter or darker shade in the same colour range as the glass to create a harmonious tonal effect for your spring decoration.

Step 3

The great thing about the liquid chalk in this edding marker is that if you want to switch the spring motif over to a summer look after a few months, simply wipe off the decoration with a damp cloth and start again.
