Faux stitching decoration

Not embroidered but drawn – how easy is that!

Punch needle is one of the biggest craft trends right now. Using a special needle tool, yarn and suitable fabric, you can create gorgeous embroidered pictures with a soft, fluffy texture. If you love the effect, but you think this embroidery technique is too much effort, then why not try using edding textile pens to draw similar-looking pictures on fabric? Once they’re mounted in an embroidery hoop, the pictures could be mistaken for punch needle motifs and make wonderfully quick and easy wall decorations. Textile markers and pens are the best option for all kinds of light-coloured fabrics, including cotton and linen. There are two stroke widths and a range of 20 colours to choose from, including neon shades for a particularly vibrant effect. You just need to come up with attractive motif of your own or use the template on our website.
