DIY New Year’s Eve rocket crackers

Make your party go with a bang!

Your guests will be blown away when they spot these rather special New Year party crackers. They’re easy to make, and you can fill them with whatever you like. Crafting these party crackers from simple cardboard tubes and coloured paper is lots of fun and will add to the excitement ahead of your party. Rather than buying pre-decorated bottles, we embellished ours by hand – it’s easy with edding permanent spray. edding spray paints are highly opaque and quick-drying, so you won’t have long to wait before you can continue designing the bottles with the gloss paint markers. We wanted to decorate our crackers with drawings of rockets and spaceships, so we used gloss paint markers because their opaque metallic shades show up really well on the shiny black paper. We offer a selection of downloadable space-themed templates, with motifs ranging from astronauts and spacecraft to stars and mini rockets. There’s something for everyone, and your creativity will be simply out of this world!
