Step-by-step
Step 1
For this drinking glass decoration idea you’ll need edding gloss paint markers in these colours: pastel yellow (colour code 135), pastel rose (138), pastel green (137) and red (002). Before using a gloss paint marker, you need to activate it: Shake the marker vigorously with the cap on. Remove the cap, place the nib on absorbent paper and pump it up and down gently a few times until ink appears in the nib. Now you’re ready to get started (and don’t forget to always store the marker horizontally after use). Start by making a template of the quote or words you want to write on the glass.
Step 2
Next, simply place the template inside the glass (use sticky tape if necessary).
Step 3
Go over the lettering with a gloss paint marker and colour in the motifs. If the ink runs dry, gently pump the nib again a few times as described earlier.
Step 4
Continue to add quotes and summer-themed motifs until your drinking glass decorations are complete. If you’re working with several colours, always let one colour dry briefly before continuing with the next.
