Step-by-step
Step 1
You’ll need a selection of edding 1200 colour pens in pastel colours and black. Our photo shows you at a glance all the colours we used. The strip of paper is going to be glued around the milk carton, so you need to measure the length and width accordingly.
Step 2
First, wash the milk carton thoroughly. The best way to do this is to rinse it out a few times with soapy water. Cut off the top of the carton using the craft knife and trim the edges to make them straight.
Step 3
Now colour in the band of paper in pastel colours any way you like. In our example, we used a ruler and drew a face made up of triangles, circles and lines. Draw the outlines with the black fibre pen, then fill them in using pastel shades. The fine nib of the edding 1200 is superb for detailed drawings.
