DIY world map cushion

Divine décor for globetrotters

It takes a snuggly cushion or two to make a sofa really comfortable. And this one, with its exceptional world map design, will soon have globetrotters dreaming of faraway places. So where did your last holiday adventure take you? Whether it was hiking in the Himalayas, strolling around New York or cruising the Nile, you can use edding textile markers to mark all your favourite travel spots on the map. With the aid of the template available on our website you’ll find this world map décor quite simple and straightforward. edding textile markers and pens are ideal for all manner of light-coloured fabrics, including cotton, silk and linen. There are two stroke widths and a range of 20 colours to choose from, including neon shades for a particularly vibrant effect. Take your pick and colour in the map in whatever way you choose. We decided to go for a trendy pattern of dots, as it’s less likely to go over the lines. To create imaginative effects, draw the dots closer together or space them out more – whatever takes your fancy! When you’ve finished, iron the cushion cover on the no-steam setting and your design will be resistant to washes up to 60°C.
