Upcycled glass jars

Decorate your own stylish bathroom storage jars

Beautiful accessories add wonderful finishing touches to any bathroom, even the smallest of rooms – and this lovely glass jar decoration is easy to re-create at home. Whether you use it for storing bath bombs, hair clips or cotton wool pads, all you need is some plain jam jars and decorations for the lid such as tiny shells or other seaside-related accessories, plus the right markers and permanent spray from edding. Add some carefully-chosen detailing in keeping with the colour scheme of the room and conjure up unique storage jars for cosmetics and toiletries. You can customise the containers by using edding gloss paint markers to label them in an exciting range of opaque shades. By applying acrylic paint spray to the lids you can turn them into a really eye-catching feature for your bathroom. Our step-by-step instructions show you how.
