Step-by-step

Step 1
First of all, wash, dry and iron the bags to ensure the ink adheres well. edding 4500 textile markers and edding 4600 textile pens are available in 20 different colours. Just pick your favourites! The template is available for you to download from our website.

Step 2
Cut out a piece of cardboard to match the size of the bag, place the template on top of the card and insert both into the bag. This will prevent the ink from bleeding through to the back of the bag. The pattern on the template will be visible through the fabric, so you’ll be able to trace it straight onto the bag with ease using edding textile markers and pens.

Step 3
Let your imagination run wild: add hearts, dots, lines or graphic elements to make your bag really stand out. The result will be a bag that’s absolutely unique to you.

Step 4
Once you’ve completed your design, iron it (without steam) to fix the ink. Your bag can then be washed safely at temperatures up to 60°C.

Step 5
And that’s all there is to it! Your handmade bag is ready. And if, say, you want the bride’s bag to be instantly recognisable, you can always decorate it in a different colour or add a special design.
