Step-by-step

Step 1
Gather all the materials you need before you start. For our baskets we chose gentian blue (colour code 903) and pastel rose (914).

Step 2
Using the pre-taped masking film, carefully mask the top edges of the basket and any other areas that you don’t want painted, not forgetting the handle.

Step 3
Completely cover your work surface with masking film. Shake the spray can for 3 minutes, then remove the sprayhead and use the screwdriver to remove the safety ring.

Step 4
We recommend that you spray continuously at a distance of approx. 25 cm, using horizontal and vertical strokes, so that the paint covers more evenly. In our Permanent spray basics section we’ve got handy tips on perfect spraying.

Step 5
Once the paint is thoroughly dry, carefully remove the film. To decorate the handle, wind wool around it, keeping the strands as close together as possible so the wood is completely hidden.

Step 6
Before filling with strawberries, we recommend that you line the basket with a serviette so that any sprayed areas are covered.
