Step-by-step

Step 1
For this journal idea, you’ll need the edding 55 fineliner and edding 7 mini highlighters in the colours of your choosing. We’ve got a template for you to download. Simply print it out and place in position.

Step 2
If the pages of your journal are relatively thin, you can place the template beneath the paper and simply trace into your journal with a pencil. Once you’ve done that, use the black fineliner to go over all the motifs and wording.

Step 3
edding 7 mini highlighters come in vibrant shades, allowing you to emphasise words and pictures to great effect.

Step 4
Even cool 3D effects are possible in no time at all using the mini highlighters (as you can see with the neon yellow highlighter pictured here).

Step 5
Choose a different colour to highlight each segment of your revision. You could highlight completed sections in neon yellow, for example - and if there’s still something you need to learn, you could use a neon pink marker. In this way, you can see exactly what you’ve learnt each day and will be able to tell at a glance whether you’re on track to meet your revision targets.
