Step-by-step

Step 1
Start by cutting out the card in the size you want, or use a pre-folded card. Pick suitable colours from the Colour Happy Box (we used colours 2, 11 and 14) and get everything ready.

Step 2
Print out the frog motif in the size you want and place underneath the paper as a template, so you can go over the lines with the black edding 1800 profipen.

Step 3
Now draw the eyes and the mouth and add a few little hearts.

Step 4
And now for the fun part: colouring in with the brush pens. The brush pen colour mixer allows you to blend colours any way you like. For example, if you want a greeny-blue gradient, insert the turquoise pen in the top of the Colour Mixer and the light green pen in the bottom, so the pen tips are touching. Hold vertically and wait a couple of seconds.

Step 5
The light green pen will have absorbed turquoise ink so now you’re ready to start drawing. The line will start off turquoise and then gradually change to light green. You can use this method with any combination of colours to achieve awesome colour gradients. Colour in your frog, one section at a time. Finally, glue the pom pom onto his tummy. You can find simple instructions for making your own pom poms on youtube.
