Step-by-step

Step 1
To complete your repair, you will need the edding 8903 wax heating iron and a set of different waxes (as shown in this photo). Remember to select the set that best matches the colour of your wooden worktop. Every set contains 3 different-coloured waxes.

Step 2
Press and hold down the button on the side of the heating iron and wait a short time for the tip to heat up. Keep the button held down and place the metal tip against the wax until it starts to melt. Next, drip a little wax into the damaged area.

Step 3
Use the tip of the heating iron to spread the wax out evenly and work it into the scratch.

Step 4
You might want to use a mix of different coloured waxes to achieve the best possible match for the grain of your wooden worktop. Once the scratch has been filled, remove any excess wax using the scraper on the handle of the heating iron.

Step 5
And that's it! In just a few minutes, that annoying scratch in your worktop has completely disappeared.
