Make your own calendar

Step by step: transform a plastic folder into a calendar

Whether in red, blue, green or black, plastic loose-leaf folders will be familiar to most of us from our school days. We used a different colour folder for each subject, but as they were just basic school kit we didn't pay much attention to them. Thanks to our new creative idea, however, these folders now have the opportunity to really get noticed because you can transform them into a unique and highly decorative accessory: a perpetual flip calendar made of plastic, with stylish lettering added using edding gloss paint markers. The ink in these markers is completely opaque and shows up really well on dark and smooth surfaces. There are different stroke widths and colours to choose from, including metallic shades such as gold, silver and copper.
