Preparing: If the fabric needs ironing, you must do this before you start spraying. It’s a good idea to design the hanging section by section – you could divide it into three. Arrange the feathers over the first section.
Hold the nozzle around 25cm from the fabric and spray with horizontal and vertical strokes to ensure the paint covers evenly. Leave to dry for around 30 mins.
Paint the next section in the same way, carefully covering up the previously-sprayed areas.
Hints and tips: The painted feathers also work well as decorations. For a simple yet sophisticated look to go with your wall hanging, simply stick a matching sprayed feather onto a vase.
