Step-by-step

Step 1
To create our pictures, we used permanent spray in neon pink and pastel green. Position the monstera leaf on the canvas (secure it in place if you need to), then spray the area in the paint colour of your choice. If you go to our Spray basics section, you'll find useful tips on designing with permanent spray. Before you proceed to the next step, allow the canvas to dry thoroughly. Remove the leaf.

Step 2
Next, use the acrylic markers to add some striking graphic touches. For larger features such as the pastel blue rectangle shown here, it's best to use the broad acrylic marker. For finer lines, we recommend the fine acrylic marker in black and shades of yellow. To draw the circle, a plate can make the perfect template.
