Step-by-step

Step 1
For a folded card: Cut a piece of card that measures 20 x 30 cm from the grey card and fold in half so that it measures 20 x 15 cm. Make a centre fold in both halves to create a “zigzag” card. Place the translucent paper over the lettering template and trace over it. Position the translucent paper on the front of the card, place the yellow copying paper beneath it and transfer the lettering with a ballpoint pen. Go over the lettering with the edding matt paint marker.

Step 2
Use the compass or a small cup/glass to draw a circle at the bottom right of the front of the card and cut the circle out of the card. Cut out a circle the same size from the yellow card and glue it inside the card at the bottom right to serve as the moon. Place the translucent paper over the bat templates and trace them. Position the translucent paper on the black card, place the yellow tracing paper underneath and transfer the bats with a ballpoint pen (alternatively, copy the bats by hand).

Step 3
Cut out the bats and give them yellow eyes with the edding matt paint marker. Glue the bats to the card; a great idea is to glue one so that it's flying in front of the moon. For the seal, punch a hole in the centre of the bottom edge of the card, attach two black rivets and seal the entire thing with the decorative ribbon – and there, you've finished!
