Step-by-step

Step 1
For your designs, you’ll need edding gloss paint markers in a range of nib widths. Just pick out the colours that best suit your design idea. First, you need to activate your gloss paint markers: shake the marker vigorously with the cap still on before removing the cap. Next, prime the marker by pressing the nib up and down a few times on a piece of absorbent paper until ink appears in the nib. You can now get started.

Step 2
If you prefer, you can start by drawing your dinosaur design (or any other motif you choose) onto your sheet of plain wrapping paper using a pencil before going over the pencil lines with your activated gloss paint markers. If you’re drawing fine lines, it’s best to use the fine tip of the edding 780. To colour in the dinosaur’s hat, for example, we recommend the edding 751, which has a medium stroke width.
