Step-by-step
Step 1
If the wooden letters have a very rough surface, rub them down lightly with sandpaper before painting to remove any noticeable unevenness. Smooth surfaces won’t need sanding.
Step 2
To achieve a smooth and evenly painted surface, first apply a coat of edding Universal Primer to the letters. This maximises adhesion, enhances the sheen and ensures that subsequent coats of coloured paint can be applied more sparingly.
Step 3
After leaving the primer to dry for a short while, paint the wooden letters with edding Permanent Spray in your chosen shade. To achieve a perfect result, we recommend using both horizontal and vertical strokes at a distance of approx. 25 cm.
