A major sporting event can finally go ahead once more: Euro 2020. If you want to follow the action without ever missing a result, you can design your own, personalised UEFA Euro 2020 match chart in your journal. You can organise your chart however you like – create blocks for every match in the group stage and in the knock-out phase, or just for the matches between the last 16 teams. The edding 1340 brush pen is perfect for colouring in your fixture schedule. Meanwhile, you can create special effects by going over coloured areas with the pastel pen to lighten them. Accents and contours can be added using a fineliner in black.

Step-by-step

Step 1

To design your Euro 2020 match chart, we recommend using the edding 1800 profipen, the edding 1340 brush pen (in a selection of different colours) and the edding 1500 pastel pen.

Step 2

Decide on your page layout and lightly sketch it out with a pencil. For your Euro 2020 match chart, you can create blocks for all the games or, as shown here, just for the games between the final 16 teams. If you want to play it safe, you can make a template beforehand and use it to trace out your design.

Step 3

Draw over your pencil outline using the fine-tipped edding 1800. The brush pens are perfect for colouring in individual blocks. If you like, use the pastel pen to go over different coloured areas to create a wonderful pastel shade. You can, for example, transform a vibrant orange into a soft light orange. This is also a great way of lightening the headings in each of the coloured boxes.
