Step-by-step
Step 1
You can see all the materials you need at a glance in our photo. In our example, we used gloss paint markers in vibrant metallic colours: the edding 751, with a medium stroke width, and the edding 780, which has an ultrafine tip.
Step 2
Before using a gloss paint marker, you need to activate it: shake the marker vigorously with the cap still on, then remove the cap, place the nib on a piece of absorbent paper and carefully pump the marker up and down a few times until ink appears in the nib. Now you’re ready to get started. (After use, always replace the cap securely and store the marker horizontally.)
Step 3
After activating the gloss paint marker, use it to decorate the coasters however you wish. We wrote “CHEERS” in light blue metallic (colour code 070), but there are seven striking metallic shades and different stroke widths available in the range.
Step 4
The fine-tipped edding 780 in gold is lovely for drawing tiny bubbles. With a different design on every tile, each guest gets their own unique coaster!
