Step-by-step

Step 1
You can see everything you need at a glance in our photo. For this craft idea you’ll need edding Funtastics textile markers for children, available in a set of 5 colours. We recommend that you wash the bag beforehand, as this helps the ink to adhere better. Simply download and print out one of our ready-made templates and cut it out. To ensure the ink doesn’t go through to the back of the bag, place a piece of cardboard inside the bag.

Step 2
Position the template on the fabric and use the children’s textile pen to transfer the cupcake motif. Now it’s time to colour in the picture – any way you want and in whatever colours you like best. If you want to use more than one colour, it’s best to let one colour dry before continuing with the next, to prevent them running into each other. When you’ve finished, iron the design on the no-steam setting and it will then be washable up to 60°C. Now for the ‘icing on the cake’: finish off by sewing pom poms onto your cupcake to resemble sugar pearls.
