Step-by-step

Step 1
First, download our folding template and get the other materials ready. In our example, we used edding 1200 colour pens in orange (colour code 006), turquoise (014) and magenta (020). When it comes to choosing the colours, just let your imagination run free!

Step 2
Start by cutting along the outlines of the template, which comes in two sections.

Step 3
Next, use the colour pens to decorate the outward-facing side of both sections to your heart’s content. We chose a graphic pattern made up of brightly-coloured diamonds and triangles.

Step 4
Now it’s time to give your paper pen holder a three-dimensional shape. Using the bone folder, fold the template along the corresponding lines, stick double-sided tape on the tabs and secure the edges together, attaching the top section to the base.
