It’s a good idea to gather all your materials together before you start. You can see everything you need at a glance in our photo.
Start by cutting the wrapping paper and the black plastic sack to the desired size, to match the size of your plant pot. You’ll need a rectangular shape for the bag. Next, place the plastic sack on the paper and construct the folded paper bag by following our instructions.
Ensure that the plastic layer stays in position on the inside of the paper bag as this will make it waterproof. Finally, fold the base of the bag and glue down all the edges.
And now for the best part – decorating your DIY vase. Before using a matt paint marker, you must activate it by following these instructions. Use the matt paint marker to decorate your paper bags with whatever designs take your fancy. You can draw motifs, individual hand lettered words or add a quotation, just as you wish. The wording can be multi-coloured, or you can leave it plain white and add coloured or black outlines.
