Design your own tea towels

Bring out the designer in you and create your own tea towels

The classic tea towels available in the shops often have boring stripes or gaudy patterns. But if you want to be different and use something snazzier for drying your dishes, simply reach for an edding textile marker and design your own! You’ll be amazed at how little effort it takes to create the most beautiful patterns and designs to go with your kitchen colour scheme. Simply come up with an interesting design, sketch it out on card and away you go! The textile markers and textile pens from edding are ideal for all kinds of light-coloured fabrics such as cotton, silk and linen. You can choose from a range of 20 colours in two stroke widths, including neon colours for a particularly vibrant effect. What’s more, they’re really practical for beginners and advanced crafters alike: with each of the edding textile sets – blues/greens, reds or assorted base colours – you have five perfectly colour-co-ordinated shades at your fingertips. When the design is ready, iron the tea towel. The design will then be able to withstand washing up to 60°C.
