Step-by-step

Step 1
Before decorating, clean thoroughly in the dishwasher and use a detergent or methylated spirits to remove fingerprints or traces of grease. As you decorate, make sure there are no unnecessary fingerprints underneath the ink as you apply it.

Step 2
Only use the brushpen for decorative purposes. Avoid decorating areas of the porcelain that are used for cutting, eating or drinking. For example, only decorate the rim of a plate or the outside of a mug. If you make a mistake, immediately remove it with a damp cloth or cotton bud. Try out the various designs on paper first.

Step 3
Place the figure on a cold oven rack, slide it into a pre-heated oven and bake at 160°C for 25 minutes. Leave it to cool down in the oven afterwards.

Step 4
After baking, the design on your figure is dishwasher-safe. Daily cleaning: avoid friction and rubbing by positioning the item in the dishwasher so that it's not in contact with other items of crockery or cutlery.
