Step-by-step

Step 1
You can see all the materials you need at a glance in our photo. The edding 3000 range gives you a total choice of 20 bold colours, so you’ll easily find your favourites.

Step 2
Think about what kind of motif you want to add to your lantern. You can be as imaginative as you like and go for whatever appeals to you. It could be a favourite saying, a mini camping scene, or a sunset. We chose the phrase “The best memories are made in a camper”, accompanied by a drawing of a camper van. Sketch out your motif on the lantern in pencil first.

Step 3
Now you can get straight down to the decorating part. We wanted a monochrome design, so we traced over the pencil lines with a black edding 3000.

Step 4
Charge up the battery – and your camping lantern is ready!
