Step-by-step

Step 1
Get all of your equipment ready, as shown in the photo below.

Step 2
Using the large pliers, bend the fork handle inwards into a semicircular shape. Depending on what the fork is made of, you may need to apply some pressure but don’t worry, as the fork won’t break.

Step 3
Using the small pliers, bend the prongs of the fork downwards so that the remaining upright prongs display the “Hang Loose”, “Victory” or similar hand signals.

Step 4
Using the metal drill, drill a small hole in the middle of the fork’s “palm”.

Step 5
The first hook is then ready to be fixed to the wall or cupboard. Use the carpenter pen to mark the location of the drill hole, drill a hole in the wall and fix your DIY hook onto the wall using a screw.
