Step-by-step
Step 1
Practise drawing your design on paper first. Lightly draw the pattern onto your pebble using a pencil .
Step 2
To activate a new gloss paint marker: Shake the marker well with the cap on. Place the writing nib of the marker on a piece of test paper, pump a few times by pressing down on the nib carefully until the ink appears in the nib. Check the marker by drawing a few test lines first. Always replace the cap after use.
Step 3
To draw the "Jonglebee" Zentangle® pattern, start with the outer circles. Now fill them in gradually with a series of curves. Finally, colour in the patterns however you want using the gloss paint markers.
Step 4
If you want to use layers of colour, let the first colour dry before applying the next.
Step 5
Words and letters can look really decorative; this idea is to place painted pebbles in a row, each with an individual letter, to form a word.
Step 6
With the gloss paint markers you can also paint stones very brightly. Here you can see a few examples of how colourful you can design stones and thus currently set a sign of hope. If you like, you can put your stone into a stone snake, which is currently emerging everywhere in the city and in the countryside.
