Step-by-step
Step 1
We’ve created our design using the X multi marker set containing markers in red and dark grey. Our design template is available for download. Alternatively, simply draw your own design.
Step 2
Before you start, you’ll first need to activate your markers. To do this, shake your markers with the cap still on until you can hear the small ball rattling inside the pen. Next, carefully press the nib up and down a few times on a piece of scrap paper until the ink fills the tip. You can also use the paper to try out a few practice marks. Use the narrow side of your red multi marker to draw the jagged arrow motif onto your headset.
Step 3
Wait for the red to dry thoroughly (you don’t want the different colours running together). Next, go round the outline of your arrow using the dark grey marker. The narrow side of the chisel nib is especially good for adding really fine strokes.
Step 4
Wait for your design to dry and that’s it – your new designer headset is finished!
