Step 1
edding’s permanent pens come in a range of different-sized stroke widths. In our example, we’ve chosen to use a black pen with the finest nib, but you may prefer a broader nib or one of the four other colours in the range.

Step 2
Using the permanent pen, write the name of the relevant herb or spice on the lid of your jar. The pen with the very fine nib is particularly good for adding longer spice names to small lids.

Step 3
Once your jar is labelled, fill it with your chosen herb or spice and replace the lid, making sure it is properly sealed.
