Step-by-step
Step 1
To design your weekly spread, you'll need an edding 7 mini highlighter and the edding 1800 profipen. In our example, we devoted a full page to each day of the week. First of all, use the mini highlighter to write the days of the week in bold letters at the top of each page.
Step 2
The very fine nib of the precision fineliner is also great for writing the days of the week over the top of the bold letters in a completely different font. It allows you to add decorative emphasis in minimalistic style. In our example, we used wide, stretched-out lettering.
Step 3
To make your weekly planner look even more attractive, embellish it with matching graphic elements. If, say, it's time to do the washing, draw a suitable image to denote it. This is where line art comes in; if you can, try drawing the entire image with a single line to get a clear, expressive result.
Step 4
You could use line art for other scheduled to-do items such as coffee breaks, sports events and doctor's appointments, or whatever else it is you have planned for the week.
