It’s a good idea to gather all your materials together before you start crafting. You can see everything you need at a glance in our photo.
Using the pencil, start by drawing a square with rounded corners on the piece of cardboard and cut it out. This is going to be your template for the emojis, so it doesn’t have to be precise.
Next, place the template on the grey paper and draw round it twice in pencil.
Go over the lines using the edding 1200 colour pen in metallic blue (073) to give the emojis a three-dimensional look. The pen is ready to use straight away – simply remove the cap and get started. Add a colon to one shape (for the eyes) and a closing bracket on the other (for the smile). Cut them both out.
Next, glue both emojis onto the card and draw arms and legs using the silver-coloured edding 1200 metallic colour pen. Not only is the pen good for drawing, it is also fabulous for writing with a metallic sheen. We chose the sentiment “Happiness is when you are right beside me”, written in silver pen. For added contrast, we wrote YOU and ME in metallic blue. And that’s it, your decorated card is finished!
