Step 1
If the fabric is new, wash it to remove any starch (this also applies to homemade key rings). Place the cardboard inside the material so the ink doesn’t bleed through. Decorate using your edding textile markers.
Step 2
In our example we have used the motto “HOME SWEET HOME” accompanied by tiny hearts. Alternatively, you may wish to make up your own design or write the names of your family members... just let your imagination run free! Finally, make the design permanent by ironing it (without steam) to ensure it will withstand wash cycles up to 60°C.
