For the round gift tag: Cut two circles out of the coloured card, each in a different colour, one measuring 10 cm diameter and the other 8.5 cm. Glue the smaller circle onto the middle of the larger one. Now use the edding 2185 gel roller to write a few lines on the gift tag on how to use the contents. The last step is to fasten the gift tag to the gift box with string.
The wording could be along the lines of:
15 minutes for you
Make the tea
Light the candle
Sit back, relax and enjoy the short story
For the gift box: Using the template, cut the shape of the gift box out of the coloured card and assemble the box according to the folding instructions. Next, add your design using the edding 1200 metallic colourpen in silver. A template for the floral pattern is provided. The best method is to transfer the pattern onto the box with the aid of copy paper and a pencil. Use the edding 1200 metallic colourpen for colouring in.
Folded box for the tea-light and story: Using our template to help you, cut out the shape for the folded box from the coloured card. Think up a short story, or choose one you already know. Write it down on the box-shaped paper using the edding 2185 gel roller. Now follow the folding instructions to make the box. The box will double up as a keepsake holder, perfect for storing the tea-light.
For the contents:
Make a mini bag out of a folded piece of coloured card to hold the tea bag. Add your illustration with the edding 1200 metallic colourpen.
Cut a narrow strip of coloured card to form a sleeve for the tea-light and decorate it with the edding 1200 metallic colourpen. Wrap the decorated strip around the tea-light and glue down to fasten.
Loop a length of gift ribbon through a biscuit with a hole in it and tie the ends.
Now that you’ve finished, place all the individual items inside the gift box. We hope you enjoy giving this gift!
